Welcome to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Air Support Association. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization directly supporting the Stanislaus County Air Support Unit (ASU). Made up of members from ASU, our association works hard to give our Pilots and Tactical Flight Officers additional training above and beyond what the Department can allocate. This highly specialized and demanding Unit requires ongoing training in aircraft safety, long line rescue, medical, swift water and much more. Through generous donations, our association is able to provide assistance in this crucial and necessary training while ensuring they have the necessary safety equipment to accomplish each mission.

The Air Support Unit plays a vital role in patrol operations, narcotics enforcement and search & rescue missions for not only the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, but all allied agencies throughout Stanislaus County. Operating a minimum of six days a week, this unit is very active!

As an association we are also very active within our own community. From sponsoring little league baseball to soccer and of course our annual Toy Donation to the Children's Crisis Centers. We not only have built many relationships within the community but we also work hand in hand with other Stanislaus Sheriff Associations to help improve our community and build long lasting relationships.
